Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial statements, cash flow projections, and creditworthiness of commercial clients
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and risk assessment reports for senior leadership review
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance with covenants and identify early warning signals
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay current with industry regulations and economic trends affecting credit risk
- Lead credit committee presentations and justify credit recommendations
- Develop and maintain automated credit scoring models for efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling (DCF, LBO, ratio analysis)
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB, or equivalent) preferred
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and credit risk frameworks
- Strong Excel and data visualization skills (Power BI/Tableau a plus)
- Exceptional analytical and communication abilities
- Proven track record of managing $50M+ portfolios
