As a key member of our credit assessment division, you'll evaluate commercial and consumer loan applications, conduct in-depth financial analysis, and contribute to our robust risk management framework. Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and risk assessments for loan committee review
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk identification
- Collaborate with commercial banking teams to structure optimal financing solutions
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement compliance requirements
- Lead cross-departmental initiatives to enhance credit processes
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team training programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of credit analysis experience in commercial/consumer lending
- Expertise in financial modeling, ratio analysis, and cash flow projection
- Strong knowledge of FICO scoring and credit bureau reporting systems
- Proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg Terminal, and credit software platforms
- Relevant certifications (CRCM, CMB) highly valued
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex financial data
- Experience with Hawaii's real estate and tourism market preferred
