Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough credit analysis of individual and commercial loan applications, including reviewing financial statements, tax returns, and credit reports.
- Develop and maintain credit scoring models to assess risk exposure and determine appropriate lending terms.
- Prepare detailed credit memoranda, presentation decks, and risk assessments for loan committees.
- Monitor the performance of the loan portfolio and identify early warning signs of default.
- Collaborate with underwriting teams and relationship managers to structure deals that align with the company's risk appetite.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in credit analysis, risk management, or commercial banking.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, cash flow analysis, and ratio analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
