Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of financial statements, cash flow, and collateral to evaluate creditworthiness of applicants.
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and risk assessment reports for senior management approval.
- Monitor and review existing loan portfolios to identify early warning signs of default or delinquency.
- Develop and maintain credit scoring models and underwriting guidelines in compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with the sales and loan origination teams to provide expert advice on credit policy and limits.
- Ensure all lending activities adhere to regulatory requirements and internal risk management policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in credit analysis, risk management, or commercial lending.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and data analysis tools.
- Deep understanding of credit risk frameworks, Basel III, and lending regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
