Responsibilities
- Conduct Comprehensive Risk Assessment: Analyze financial statements, cash flow, and credit reports to evaluate the creditworthiness of applicants.
- Loan Underwriting: Prepare detailed credit memos and present recommendations to the underwriting committee for loan approvals.
- Portfolio Monitoring: Continuously monitor existing loan portfolios to identify early warning signs of default and recommend remedial actions.
- Market Analysis: Stay updated on economic trends and industry-specific risks to inform lending decisions.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all credit files adhere to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in credit analysis, risk management, or commercial lending.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel (Advanced), SAP, or similar financial software is required.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret complex financial data and draw actionable insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting findings to stakeholders.
