As a key member of our Risk Management division, you'll leverage cutting-edge analytical tools and collaborative team structures to evaluate complex credit portfolios. Responsibilities
- Analyze commercial loan applications and assess borrower creditworthiness using financial modeling tools
- Prepare detailed credit risk assessments and present recommendations to credit committees
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal credit facilities
- Stay current with regulatory changes (FIRREA, Dodd-Frank) and implement compliance protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation in our CRM system and credit databases
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics with 5+ years commercial credit experience
- Expert proficiency in financial modeling (DCF, LBO) and Excel advanced functions
- CFA or CRCM certification strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience with credit bureaus (Experian, Equifax) and portfolio management systems
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail in complex financial documents
- Strong written communication abilities for credit memos and presentations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in flexible environment
