Responsibilities
- Financial Data Entry: Accurately input and maintain financial transactions into accounting software and ledgers.
- Accounts Reconciliation: Perform daily reconciliation of bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data accuracy.
- Assist with Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and general ledger reports.
- Invoice Processing: Review and process incoming and outgoing invoices to ensure timely payments.
- Record Management: Organize and file physical and digital financial documents for audit purposes.
- Compliance Support: Help ensure compliance with company policies and standard accounting procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Recent graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
- Experience: No prior work experience required. Internship experience or coursework in accounting is a significant plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables). Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite) is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to spot errors and maintain high-quality records.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for team collaboration.
- Professionalism: Ability to handle sensitive financial information with strict confidentiality.
