Responsibilities
- Analyze complex credit applications and financial statements for commercial and industrial clients
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments with actionable recommendations
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Stay current with industry regulations and economic trends affecting credit decisions
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience with equipment financing focus
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and credit software (e.g., Moody's, Fiserv)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and risk assessment abilities
- Excellent communication skills for presenting complex financial information
- Experience with SBA loan programs and industrial equipment valuation
- Professional certification (CFA, CMA, or CRCM) preferred
