Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and collateral to determine credit risk and loan eligibility.
- Develop and maintain credit scoring models and financial models for new and existing clients.
- Prepare detailed credit memos and presentations for the credit committee.
- Monitor portfolio performance and identify early warning signs of default.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state banking regulations and internal policies.
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide credit guidance on loan proposals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in credit analysis, risk management, or financial lending.
- Proficiency in financial analysis software (e.g., Moody’s Analytics, FICO) and MS Excel (Advanced).
- Strong understanding of credit risk assessment methodologies and regulatory standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
