Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements and credit applications to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit memos with risk recommendations for senior leadership
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk detection
- Collaborate with sales teams to structure complex credit solutions
- Stay updated on industry regulations and economic trends affecting credit decisions
- Maintain accurate documentation in loan origination systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Proficiency in credit scoring models and risk assessment frameworks
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with credit software (e.g., Moody's Analytics)
- Strong analytical thinking and financial modeling capabilities
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Active CRCM or CMB designation a plus
