Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to evaluate borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments for loan committees
- Monitor existing portfolios for early warning signs of credit deterioration
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay current on regulatory compliance (FRA, GAAP, lending guidelines)
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders
- Contribute to process improvements in credit underwriting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Excel
- Strong knowledge of credit risk frameworks and lending regulations
- Certification (CRCM, CMB, or similar) preferred
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with credit origination systems (e.g., Fiserv, Jack Henry)
