Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to assess borrower risk profiles
- Develop sophisticated financial models for credit risk evaluation and forecastingPrepare detailed credit memoranda and risk mitigation strategies for executive review
- Collaborate with commercial banking teams to structure complex credit facilities
- Monitor portfolio performance and identify emerging risk trends
- Maintain compliance with federal banking regulations and internal policies
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance credit analysis workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking or lending
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling (Excel, Bloomberg, Moody's Analytics)
- Credit risk certification (CRCM, CMB preferred)
- Demonstrated expertise in analyzing complex financial statements
- Strong understanding of commercial lending regulations (Regulations O, Z, FFIEC)
- Exceptional analytical and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills for presenting to executive leadership
