Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial statements and creditworthiness of commercial and industrial clients
- Prepare detailed credit reports with risk assessments and recommendations for loan committees
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Ensure compliance with federal and state lending regulations
- Develop financial models for cash flow forecasting and scenario analysis
- Present credit findings to senior leadership and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Expertise in financial statement analysis and ratio interpretation
- Proficiency in credit software (e.g., Moody's Analytics, FICO) and advanced Excel modeling
- Strong knowledge of SEC regulations and banking compliance standards
- Certified Credit Professional (CCP) or equivalent designation
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly
