Responsibilities
- Analyze complex commercial loan applications and financial statements to determine creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit memos with risk assessments, repayment analysis, and structured recommendations
- Monitor existing portfolio for compliance with covenants and early-warning indicators
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure innovative credit solutions
- Stay current on industry regulations (FIRREA, BSA/AML) and market trends
- Lead due diligence for high-value transactions ($10M+)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Expert proficiency in financial modeling (DCF, LBO, ratio analysis)
- Strong understanding of SEC filings and GAAP/IFRS standards
- Proven track record in risk assessment for complex corporate structures
- Advanced Excel skills with macros and Power BI visualization
- Series 63/66 or equivalent securities license
