Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and market trends to assess borrower creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit risk reports and recommendations for loan committees
- Monitor existing portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure complex credit facilities
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal credit policies
- Develop risk mitigation strategies for high-value commercial and industrial clients
- Maintain accurate documentation in loan origination systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and credit scoring tools
- Credit certification (CRCM, CCE, or equivalent) preferred
- Deep understanding of GAAP, cash flow analysis, and industry risk factors
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for presenting complex findings
- Experience with portfolio management systems (e.g., Moody's RiskCal, Fiserv)
