Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and risk assessments for loan committees
- Monitor existing credit portfolios and identify early warning indicators
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal credit policies
- Develop financial models to quantify exposure and recommend mitigations
- Present complex credit analyses to senior leadership in clear, actionable formats
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB, or equivalent) preferred
- Deep understanding of GAAP and credit risk frameworks
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong written/verbal communication for stakeholder interactions
