Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive credit risk assessments for commercial and industrial borrowers
- Analyze financial statements, cash flow projections, and collateral valuations
- Prepare detailed credit memoranda and risk ratings for loan committees
- Monitor existing credit portfolios for compliance and early risk identification
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Stay current on industry regulations and economic trends affecting credit decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and credit risk frameworks
- Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities
- Series 7/63 or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Experience with credit origination platforms (e.g., Black Diamond, Fiserv)
