Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial statement analysis and risk assessment for corporate clients
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk mitigation strategies for complex loan structures
- Collaborate with investment bankers to structure commercial lending solutions
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes affecting credit portfolios
- Lead cross-functional meetings to present credit recommendations to senior leadership
- Maintain compliance with federal banking regulations (FRB, OCC, FDIC)
- Develop quantitative models for default probability and loss given default calculations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking or financial services
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling (DCF, LBO, M&A)
- Expertise in analyzing complex corporate structures and industry risk factors
- Credit certification (CRCM, CCE) or equivalent professional designation
- Experience with commercial loan origination systems (e.g., Fiserv, Jack Henry)
- Demonstrated success in managing portfolios with $50M+ exposure
- Strong Excel/Power BI skills with ability to build dynamic dashboards
