Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and industry trends to assess credit risk
- Prepare comprehensive credit reports and recommendations for loan committees
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with commercial bankers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Ensure compliance with federal lending regulations and internal policies
- Present findings to senior leadership with clear data-driven insights
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Proficiency in credit scoring models and risk assessment frameworks
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
- Familiarity with banking regulations (Regulations Z, E, etc.)
- Credit certification (CRCM or equivalent) preferred
- Exceptional analytical and communication abilities
