Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth creditworthiness evaluations for commercial and individual clients
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and market trends to assess risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit reports and recommendations for loan approval committees
- Monitor existing portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay updated on regulatory compliance (FDIC, OCC, state banking laws)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling software (e.g., Moody's Analytics)
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB preferred) or equivalent experience
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience with underwriting SBA 7(a) loans highly desirable
