Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and risk assessments for commercial and industrial loans
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for early warning signs of potential default
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations (Regulation B, CFPB guidelines)
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders
- Contribute to continuous improvement of credit risk methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement analysis
- Experience with credit risk rating systems (e.g Moody's RiskCal)
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMBL) preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
