Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit recommendations and risk assessments for commercial and industrial loans
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early warning signs of financial distress
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Stay current on industry regulations (FIRREA, Basel III) and implement best practices
- Present complex financial analyses to credit committees and senior leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking or lending institutions
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling software, and credit scoring systems
- Strong understanding of cash flow analysis, collateral valuation, and covenant monitoring
- Proven ability to interpret complex financial data and make sound credit decisions
- Professional certification (CRCM, CCE) highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate findings to diverse stakeholders
