Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and industry trends to evaluate client creditworthiness
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos with clear risk assessments and approval recommendations
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for covenant compliance and early warning signs of deterioration
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers to structure credit facilities aligned with client needs
- Stay current on regulatory changes (GAAP, Basel III) and implement compliance requirements
- Present complex credit analyses to senior leadership committees
- Maintain accurate credit documentation in core banking systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking or finance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, financial modeling)
- Deep understanding of financial statement analysis and ratio interpretation
- Experience with credit scoring models and risk assessment frameworks
- Strong written communication skills for producing clear credit memos
- Series 63/66 or willingness to obtain within 90 days
