Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive credit analysis for commercial loan applications ($250k-$5M range)
- Prepare detailed financial models and risk assessment reports
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Monitor existing portfolio performance and identify early risk indicators
- Stay current on industry regulations and economic trends affecting regional markets
- Present findings to credit committee with data-driven recommendations
- Develop customized risk mitigation strategies for complex transactions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years commercial credit analysis experience with regional banks/institutions
- Advanced proficiency in Excel modeling and financial statement analysis
- Strong understanding of SEC filings and GAAP/IFRS standards
- Proven ability to interpret industry-specific risk factors
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Series 7/63 licenses (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with lending platforms (e.g., Ellie Mae, Black Knight)
