Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial statements, cash flows, and industry trends to assess borrower creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit memoranda and risk reports for senior management review
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with commercial banking teams to structure optimal financing solutions
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal credit policies
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking or financial services
- Expertise in financial statement analysis, ratio calculations, and cash flow modeling
- Proficiency with credit underwriting software (e.g., Moody's Analytics, Fiserv)
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations (Regulations B, C, Z, and FFIEC)
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
