Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive credit risk assessments for corporate and institutional clients
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and market trends to determine creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit memoranda and recommendation reports for senior leadership
- Monitor existing portfolios for early risk detection and recommend mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure complex credit facilities
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure compliance with banking policies
- Mentor junior analysts and improve departmental credit evaluation frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive credit analysis experience in banking or financial services
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Excel (VBA knowledge a plus)
- Credit certification (CRCM, CCE, or equivalent) strongly preferred
- Deep understanding of commercial lending, financial ratios, and risk metrics
- Exceptional analytical and decision-making abilities with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for presenting complex financial information
- Experience with credit software (e.g., Moody's Analytics, Fiserv)
