Responsibilities
- Analyze commercial loan applications and financial statements to assess creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit reports and risk assessments for portfolio review committees
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure complex financing solutions
- Stay current on industry regulations and economic trends impacting credit decisions
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with federal banking regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Credit certification (CRCM or equivalent) strongly preferred
- Deep understanding of cash flow analysis and financial statement interpretation
