Responsibilities
- Evaluate commercial loan applications and assess borrower creditworthiness through financial statement analysis
- Develop comprehensive risk assessments using advanced Excel modeling and financial software
- Prepare detailed credit reports and recommendations for senior management approval
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with underwriting teams to structure optimal loan terms
- Stay current with industry regulations and market trends affecting credit risk
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking or financial services

- Credit Risk Management certification (CRCM or equivalent) preferred
