Responsibilities
- Analyze commercial loan applications and financial statements to assess creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk evaluations for senior leadership review
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk detection
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure complex financing solutions
- Stay current on industry regulations and market trends affecting credit risk
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with internal policies
- Present findings to credit committee meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong understanding of GAAP and risk assessment frameworks
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication abilities for presenting complex information
- Professional certification (CRCM, CFA) preferred
