Responsibilities
- Analyze commercial and consumer credit applications using financial statements, cash flow projections, and industry benchmarks
- Prepare comprehensive credit risk assessments and recommend approval terms or risk mitigation strategies
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early warning indicators of potential defaults
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure complex credit solutions aligned with client needs
- Stay current on regulatory requirements and industry best practices in credit risk management
- Generate detailed credit reports and presentations for credit committee reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of credit analysis experience in banking, lending, or financial services
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and credit analysis software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, underwriting standards, and regulatory compliance
- Certified Credit Professional (CCP) or similar designation preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
