Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and creditworthiness of commercial borrowers
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessment reports for loan committees
- Monitor existing credit portfolios and recommend risk mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with relationship managers on complex credit structuring
- Stay updated on industry regulations and economic trends affecting credit risk
- Train junior analysts on credit policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools
- Credit Risk Management certification (CRCM) or equivalent
- Strong understanding of GAAP and credit underwriting principles
