Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and industry trends to assess borrower creditworthiness
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and risk assessment reports for underwriting committees
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay current on regulatory compliance (FCC, Basel III) and internal credit policies
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve credit risk modeling methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Expertise in financial modeling and risk assessment tools (e.g., Moody's Analytics, Bloomberg)
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB) or equivalent professional designation
