We're seeking a detail-oriented Senior Credit Analyst to evaluate creditworthiness of businesses and individuals in California's Central Valley. This hybrid role combines analytical rigor with client relationship building in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess loan applications
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos with risk mitigation recommendations
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify potential issues early
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure competitive financing solutions
- Ensure compliance with federal/state lending regulations and internal policies
- Present complex financial data clearly to senior leadership and clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong understanding of cash flow analysis and collateral valuation
- Certification (CRCM or CMB) highly desirable
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a regulated environment
