Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and industry trends to assess borrower creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit reports with risk mitigation recommendations for commercial and agricultural loans
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk detection
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure credit solutions aligned with client needs
- Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting lending practices and credit analysis
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with banking policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP and credit risk frameworks
- Credit Analyst (CMA) or similar certification preferred
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Knowledge of Central Valley agricultural and commercial sectors
