Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit recommendations and risk assessments for loan committees
- Monitor existing portfolios for compliance and identify early warning signs of deterioration
- Collaborate with sales teams to structure optimal credit solutions for clients
- Stay updated on industry regulations and economic trends affecting credit decisions
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Deep understanding of credit scoring models and risk assessment frameworks
- Certifications (CRCM, CMB) or equivalent experience preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to stakeholders
