- Analyze commercial credit applications and financial statements to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessment reports for senior management
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay current on industry trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in financial statement analysis and ratio interpretation
- Strong understanding of credit risk frameworks and underwriting standards
- Proficiency with credit analysis software (e.g., Moody's, FICO) and MS Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex information clearly
- Relevant industry certifications (CRCM, CFA) highly desirable
