Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and process payroll bi-weekly
- Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit/loss reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations while supporting tax preparation
- Oversee bank reconciliations and cash flow management
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency
- Collaborate with external auditors and financial institutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Proven track record of month-end closing and financial reporting
- Deep understanding of GAAP principles and tax compliance requirements
- Exceptional analytical skills with high accuracy in numerical data
- Strong communication abilities to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
