Responsibilities
- Process and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and compliance
- Manage accounts payable ledger and reconcile vendor statements
- Coordinate with vendors to resolve payment inquiries and disputes
- Execute weekend payment runs and maintain payment schedules
- Assist in month-end closing and financial reporting activities
- Implement internal controls to prevent fraud and ensure audit compliance
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams on process improvements
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of accounts payable experience
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
