Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial statements, cash flows, and creditworthiness of commercial clients
- Prepare detailed credit risk assessments and lending recommendations for senior leadership
- Monitor existing credit portfolios and proactively identify potential risks
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Stay current with industry regulations and economic trends affecting lending practices
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling (Excel, Bloomberg, Moody's Analytics)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and credit risk assessment methodologies
- Certification (CRCM, CMB, or equivalent) highly valued
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience in SBA lending or commercial real estate finance preferred
