Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile multi-company general ledgers with 100% accuracy
- Execute month-end closing procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Manage complex accounts payable/receivable cycles for 15+ clients
- Generate financial statements and management reports per GAAP standards
- Implement and optimize accounting workflows in QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Lead quarterly tax document preparation for CPA review
- Mentor junior bookkeepers on best practices and compliance
Qualifications
- 3+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience in public accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Xero platforms
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation required
- Demonstrated expertise in GAAP compliance and financial controls
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines with zero tolerance for errors
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
