Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit recommendations and risk assessments for loan committees
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with underwriting teams to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with banking partners and clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, credit risk frameworks, and lending regulations
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with credit scoring models (e.g., Altman Z-score, FICO)
- Proven ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly
