Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and market trends to assess borrower creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk reports for executive review
- Manage and monitor existing loan portfolios with $10M+ exposure
- Develop quantitative models for default probability and loss projections
- Collaborate with relationship managers on structuring optimal credit facilities
- Stay current on regulatory changes and compliance requirements
- Present credit recommendations to senior credit committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling software, and credit databases
- Deep understanding of cash flow analysis, collateral valuation, and covenant structures
- Strong analytical skills with attention to financial detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Series 7 or 63/66 license desirable
