Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements and credit applications to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessment reports for investment committees
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and recommend risk mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with commercial banking partners to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay current with industry regulations and economic trends affecting credit markets
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking or finance
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling software and Excel
- Strong understanding of credit risk frameworks and regulatory requirements
- Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and make sound decisions
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present findings clearly
- Professional certifications (CRCM, CFA) highly valued
