Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and risk assessments with actionable recommendations
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with commercial lending teams to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay current with regulatory compliance requirements (FIRREA, OCC guidelines)
- Develop risk mitigation strategies for high-exposure industry sectors
- Maintain accurate documentation in loan origination systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and credit scoring software
- Strong understanding of cash flow analysis and collateral valuation
- Certification (CRCM, CFA) or willingness to pursue within 12 months
