Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of commercial loan applications, including cash flow projections and risk assessments
- Prepare detailed credit memoranda and recommendations for loan approval committees
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early identification of potential risks
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Stay current with industry regulations and economic trends affecting credit decisions
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking or financial services
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Excel (VBA a plus)
- Deep understanding of GAAP, cash flow analysis, and debt service coverage ratios
