Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and industry trends to assess commercial loan applications
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and risk assessments for executive review
- Monitor existing portfolio performance and identify early warning signals
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure tailored credit solutions
- Stay current on regulatory changes and implement compliance protocols
- Develop risk mitigation strategies for high-value transactions
- Maintain accurate documentation in loan origination systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Economics
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Excel
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB) strongly preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in SIC/NAICS industry analysis
- Experience with loan origination software (e.g., Fiserv, Jack Henry)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
