Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts and financial statements.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and audit schedules.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payment and collection.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and local regulations.
- Implement and improve accounting software systems and internal processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification or CPA candidate status is highly preferred.
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficient in QuickBooks, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax laws, and financial auditing principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
