Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments for loan approval committees
- Monitor existing credit portfolios and recommend risk mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and internal credit policies
- Develop predictive models for default probability and loss forecasting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Economics required
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Proficiency in financial modeling software (e.g., Moody's Analytics, RiskCalc)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, banking regulations, and risk management principles
- Advanced Excel skills with VBA experience preferred
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Credit Risk Professional (CRP) certification a plus
