Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and industry trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments for loan committee review
- Monitor existing portfolios for early risk identification and recommend mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with sales teams to structure complex commercial and industrial loans
- Ensure adherence to FFIEC, BSA, and internal compliance protocols
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with banking partners and credit bureaus
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking or lending institutions
- Expertise in financial modeling, cash flow analysis, and ratio interpretation
- Proficiency with credit underwriting software (e.g., Moody's Analytics, FICO)
- Strong understanding of SBA lending programs and California market dynamics
- Excellent written communication and presentation skills
- Credit Risk Management Certification (CRCM) a plus
