Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive credit risk assessments on commercial loan applications
- Analyze financial statements, cash flow projections, and industry trends
- Prepare detailed credit memos with actionable recommendations
- Monitor portfolio performance and identify early warning indicators
- Collaborate with relationship managers on structuring complex financing solutions
- Stay current on regulatory compliance (FIRREA, BSA, OCC guidelines)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- 5+ years commercial credit analysis experience
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB preferred)
- Expert proficiency in financial modeling and Excel
- Strong understanding of cash flow analysis and debt service coverage
- Proven track record in risk assessment and portfolio management
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
